BT Nguyen’s love of cooking began in her native Vietnam. As a child, she spent hours in her family’s kitchen, watching her relatives prepare the simple yet elegant dishes that became the basis for the cuisine that she would develop for her restaurants in Tampa. Her love of food - and ability to blend and balance flavors, fragrances, textures and colors into a cuisine that is uniquely her own - have been chronicled in Bon Appetit, Travel & Leisure and on The Food Network’s “Emeril’s Florida” show.

A small French restaurant serving modestly priced, home style meals, wine and coffee. A French - Vietnamese Bistro is our twist on this classic French tradition.
We are trying to provide our south Tampa neighborhood with a family, casual spot; where you can just drop in for a quick bite, or a leisurely lunch or dinner, or even just order from our
take-out menu. We conceived the bistro as the perfect compromise between our more elegant “Restaurant BT” and our casual, “BT To Go,“
featuring French classics like Coq Au Vin and Duck Confit, as well as traditional Vietnamese dishes such as “Bun,“ “Pho“ and our
Banh Mi sandwiches.
